Great, I'm going to have to buy a DS now.

Are those FMV scenes even going to be capable of being done in the game, or are they only for the add? I'm impressed.

Also, who did the artwork (the picture that appeared with the four kids standing around the crystal) ? I really like their style.

All the early FFs were done by Amano weren't they?

It doesn't look quite like his style though... it's possible I guess.

It was Yoshitaka Amano who did all the artwork, i think he still does artwork for FF, I really like his work, its got a wierd but interesting element about it.

He did artwork for all the ff's from 1-6, i also think he did some of the later ff's, so ff3 is most definately his artwork.

Oh there has been this topic before Yami: About FF3 for the DS.

He does the logos and his own variations on the character designs.

^ I plan to buy it. But first I have to get the DS it's self. ><
I didn't want anything for months, and now I feel the need to have a few things here and there. Just weird for me...I'm not a needy person..

I hope they release FFIII for PSX/PS2 as well, because not everybody has a DS and III is the only numbered FF that hasn't been released on a PSX/PS2 system. Actually, what I'd like to see is a PS2 compilation featuring all six classic FF's I-VI with enhanced and new CG's, unlockable extras and artwork, and all that jazz. Say a 2-disc set, with FFI-III on one disc and FFIV-VI on the other. That would so complete my collection (even though I do have Chronicles and Anthology, I think they could redo the CG on those now that the technology's improved so much).

@Axwind: CG!!!, Nooooo, I think they should keep them as close to the original nintendo version as possible, I prefer extra features and mini games rather than CG.

At Whiplash, Correct YA did do all the ff logos he uses his art technique for them like he did on his early monster/character design pics. His work is interesting.
YA, he designs the characters in nearly all the FF's i think.

They already added CG to the PSX rereleases, all I meant was upgrading that - why do you hate CG so much? It lets you see familiar characters in a new way. No one's going to want to play a game without it these days. 3d is not the enemy, okay? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

YaY. With the coming of FF3 and Children of Mana, I'm glad I got myself a DS (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
Well for all those who are about to get a DS, at least you'll be able to get the new version, DS: Lite. It's smaller and has a brigher screen... so that's definitely a plus.

Medevil?.....bad terminology, buy it then you will probably go back on that term.

Get the game then, pointless saying your gonna get it, say when you have got it kay.
